Hematology
Research related to Onco-Hematology aims to find the best therapeutic approach for lymphomas and myelomas due to the high frequency of relapses. In addition, we seek to identify the theranostic potential of already established radiopharmaceuticals and those developed by us, based on clinical and laboratory parameters.
Onco-Hematology
Onco-Hematology, combined with the expertise of Clinical Nuclear Medicine, drives the discovery of genotypes and phenotypes that affect the uptake or response to treatment with radiopharmaceuticals, allowing knowledge to flow quickly from the bedside — with the experience of those who care for patients — to the laboratory, where the CancerThera chemistry team works. This results in the creation of more effective radiopharmaceuticals for therapeutic targets. Research in Onco-Hematology is conducted at the Hemocenter of Unicamp.
