Clinical
Nuclear
Medicine
Clinical Nuclear Medicine is fundamental to the support of our center, as the research we develop requires the radiolabeling of molecules for the diagnosis and treatment of cancerous tumors in humans. At CancerThera, this area is operated by physicians, medical physicists, radiopharmacists, biomedical scientists, and nurses.
Clinical Research
in Nuclear Medicine
In this area, diagnostic images taken before and after treatments with radioisotopic elements undergo rigorous analysis after processing and quantification using artificial intelligence tools, yielding data such as: tumor metabolic burden, internal dosimetry, among others. Patient care takes place in rooms prepared for radioisotope therapy. The Clinical Research branch of our center is conducted in the Nuclear Medicine department at the Hospital das Clínicas of Unicamp.
